PURPOSE OF S.O.S.
Senior Oversight Services is designed to provide a comprehensive
service to Long Term Care (LTC) patient/resident and their
families.
WHO IS S.O.S.?
Dr. Owen Lugar, licensed nursing home administrator and psychologist,
recognized expert in rehabilitation and geriatric care manager
WHAT S.O.S. Do?
- Provides independent assessment of long term care (LTC)
needs,
- Assists with the selection of a LTC facility,
- Assists in the organization of LTC resources,
- Provides on site OVERSIGHT of care, and
- Provides periodic reports for the LTC family.
WHERE IS S.O.S.?
Available in the Tri-State area.

WHY S.O.S.?
The service was created to assure the LTC family that quality
care is being provided and to reduce their apprehension about
LTC services.

COSTS:
The costs vary with the services performed. Services can
include:
LTC assessment with record review and report,
Site consultation and review,
MDS review at LTC facility,
Attendance at resident/patient staffing,
Monthly site visitation,
And periodic report preparation.
Available to the LTC patient/resident and their families
24 hours a day 7 days a week.
